The purpose of the Mecca Network of Officiating is to provide officials with the information and training necessary to enhance their officiating skills and abilities through classroom and on court critique,
with an emphasis on (2) and (3) person mechanics for women's basketball.
Officials that choose to attend our program should be those that aspire to improve their skill level.
OFFICIATE FOR THE NYC PSAL
Attend and pass the New York State Girls Basketball Officiating Course and Exam
Classroom and floor sessions for the NYSGBOA are offered by the
New York City Girls Basketball Officials Affiliation
This course covers high school girls rules and mechanics

IAABO HS certified officials:
Officials must attend a PSAL Refresher rules classroom session
each year and a “Mechanics Review". (TBA)
To attend the PSAL Refresher:
1) Proof of Certification & good member standings from recognized IAABO Board
2) Be in possession of an up to date NCAA Rule Book.
3) Demonstrate knowledge of girls rules and mechanics.
